⁍ Russian President Vladimir Putin did not discuss supplying Belarus with new weapons when he met President Alexander Lukashenko.
⁍ Lukashenko had said earlier that he had asked Putin to supply weapons to Belarus as he faces mass protests over a disputed election.
– Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko this week, and Lukashenko said he asked Putin to supply his country with weapons, Reuters reports. But a Kremlin spokesman said on Wednesday that Putin didn’t discuss the matter with Lukashenko.
