⁍ Justice Department says it will approve Anheuser-Bush’s plan to buy the shares of Craft Brew Alliance that it does not already own.
⁍ The $220 million merger, which was announced in November, was approved on condition the companies divest Craft Brew Alliance’s Kona brand beer.
– Anheuser-Bush will be able to buy Craft Brew Alliance for $220 million after the Justice Department approved the deal on Friday, Reuters reports. As part of the deal, Anheuser-Bush will have to give up its Kona beer brand.
