⁍ Slovenian Tadej Pogacar won his maiden Tour de France title on Sunday.


⁍ Pogacar is the youngest rider to win the Tour de France since Henri Cornet in 1904.


⁍ He is the first rider to win on his Tour debut since France’s Laurent Fignon in 1983.


– Slovenia’s Tadej Pogacar won the Tour de France in Paris on Sunday, becoming the youngest winner in the race’s 111-year history. The 21-year-old, who also won the Criterium du Dauphine race for young riders last year, finished ahead of Nairo Quintana and Peter Sagan. Pogacar is the first rider from his country to win the Criterium du Dauphine and the Tour de France in the same year, reports Reuters.
