– Spectators at the upcoming League of Legends World Championship in Shanghai won’t be able to see as much of the action as they’d like. Riot Games, the video game maker behind the competition, says it will only allow a small number of fans to attend the grand final on Oct. 31, the Verge reports. “We have a few weeks yet to monitor health and safety at the event,” says John Needham, Riot’s global head of esports. “I think we’re going to be fine, and we’ll have a small audience in the stadium, but we’ll see. It’s gotta be safe.”
