– British Prime Minister Theresa May’s plan for leaving the European Union appears to be moving closer to reality: A senior member of May’s Conservative Party says he will vote in favor of the Brexit bill because of changes the government has made, Reuters reports. Sajid Javid, a former finance minister, had previously said he would vote against the bill. “The PM has spoken of the importance of going through legal procedures and I’m satisfied by the Govt’s assurances,” Javid tweeted. “I’ll be supporting Govt amendments and the Bill.”
