– Australia’s second-most populous state has seen 15 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, compared with 28 cases yesterday, Reuters reports. Five people have now died in the state from the disease, which has now infected more than 500 people in Australia. The number of cases in Melbourne, the epicenter of the outbreak, has dropped below 30 for the first time in two weeks. Restrictions on travel in the city may be eased if the average number of cases remains below 50 by the end of next week.
