⁍ Britain on Friday said there was still a lot of work to do in talks with the European Union on a trade deal.

⁍ It called on the EU to translate a ‘more constructive attitude’ into realistic policy positions.

– British Prime Minister David Cameron and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker wrapped up two days of high-level talks without reaching an agreement on Britain’s exit from the European Union, the AP reports. A British government official says “there remains a lot of work to do” and “either outcome is still possible.” The official says “the differences on fisheries and the level playing field remain significant” and that “the EU’s more constructive attitude will need to be translated into more realistic policy positions in the days to come.”
