– Argentina’s economic crisis is taking a heavy toll on the country’s health care system, as the H1N1 virus that has hit the country this year kills more people than any other country in the world. The country has had a strict quarantine on the virus for seven months, but it has now seen more than 700,000 infections and 15,543 deaths, making it the No. 5 country in the world for infections and the No. 4 for deaths, Reuters reports. India is the only other country in the top five, with an average of 11,082 infections per day. The H1N1 outbreak has hit Argentina especially hard because of the country’s weak economy. “Everything is uncertain” for the country’s health care system, says one infected man.
