⁍ The settlement is the largest ever in a wage-and-hour case against the fast food giant.

– A California judge has approved a $26 million settlement for McDonald’s workers who claimed they were denied rest breaks and overtime pay, the Los Angeles Times reports. According to the Fight for $15 advocacy group, which filed the class-action lawsuit on behalf of the 40,000 workers, McDonald’s also required the workers to clean their uniforms, which cost the company an estimated $5,000 a year. The judge’s approval of the settlement is the largest ever for a wage-and-hour case against a company, according to the advocacy group.
