But that’s not true, according to the fact-checking team at Reuters, which says the image is misleading. “Harris’ voice cracks a little from emotion when she talks about the case and her tone of voice is serious,” the team writes. “It is clear from this clip that Harris is not smiling when she talks about Mueller.” (See the video here.) Harris condemned the death of Mueller, who was taken hostage by the Islamic State in Syria in 2013. “To the Mueller family, I know about your daughter’s case, and I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. What happened to her is awful and it should never have happened,” Harris said.
