– For the first time in its history, the French Open will have a night session. Beginning next year, all men’s and women’s matches will be shown exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, starting at 2100 local time on the first Monday of the tournament, Reuters reports. The French tennis federation says “Spectators are guaranteed to see that day’s headline men’s or women’s match from 9pm onwards.” The decision leaves Wimbledon as the only Grand Slam tournament without a night session.
