⁍ At least 20 Senate Republicans have said they were opposed to a $1.8 trillion offer from the White House to Pelosi on a compromise package.

– Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows sent a letter to lawmakers on Sunday calling on them to “immediately vote on a bill” to use funds left over from the paycheck protection program to deal with the H1N1 virus, Reuters reports. “The all or nothing approach is an unacceptable response to the American people,” they wrote. They said negotiations on a longer-term deal were continuing with Democratic leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
