– A woman in the UK seems to have become the latest victim of the deadly SARS-CoV-2 virus, but she’s now being accused of making up a story about it. In a Facebook post that’s since been taken down, the woman says that after she tested positive for the virus, her entire family was also tested negative, the Independent reports. “They were all negative strange really for a very highly deadly (MAN MADE) virus,” she writes. “And so I wondered if this was a false result I’m aware not everyone gets antibodies my main point is why didn’t any of my family test positive why did no one else from work test positive!!!” The post has since been shared more than 3,000 times, with people accusing the woman of making up a story about the virus being “man-made,” according to the Independent, which notes that there’s no proof the virus is “man-made” at all. In fact, the World Health Organization says “all available evidence” points to a non-human, zoonotic source for the virus, the Independent reports.
