– The Tokyo Stock Exchange will submit a report on its catastrophic Oct. 1 trading outage to its regulator on Friday, the Nikkei reports. The outage, the worst on the TSE since its start in 1999, lasted all day and was caused by a hardware problem and failure to switch to a back-up system. The TSE says it will come up with procedures to resume trading following system trouble and set up a consultation body with brokerages to discuss necessary measures, Reuters reports.
