– Pandemic H1N1 isn’t going to wipe out the entire US economy, but it’s sure to hit certain sectors harder than others, New York Federal Reserve Bank President John Williams told a virtual audience today. “I do still think the fundamentals of the sector are very strong,” he said, according to Reuters. “I am an optimist about the longer term period, I think it’s just going to be a challenging period to get to that.”
