– The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has given the green light to Kinder Morgan’s proposed $143 million natural gas pipeline project in Louisiana, Reuters reports. The project will boost the state’s gas capacity by around 0.95 billion cubic feet per day, or enough for about 5 million US homes for a day. Kinder says most of the gas will go to Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas export plant in Louisiana, and the rest will be available for sale to the market.
