⁍ Borissov said he had a negative result from a coronavirus test he took earlier on Friday.
⁍ Bulgaria’s coronavirus cases have spiked since the start of October.
– Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov says he’s “self-isolating” after testing positive for a virus that has killed at least 1,064 people in the country, Reuters reports. The prime minister says he was in contact with a deputy construction minister who has tested positive for coronavirus. “I am waiting for the orders of the health authorities and until then I will be in self-isolation,” Borissov wrote on Facebook. “I was last in contact with him five days ago.”
