⁍ China’s market regulator and other government departments have launched an exercise focused on e-commerce.


⁍ They plan to crack down on areas such as unfair competition and the illegal trading of counterfeits or wildlife.


⁍ The operation will run until December and will also look into areas such as livestreaming.


– Chinese authorities are cracking down on online commerce in the country, Reuters reports. According to state news agency Xinhua, the State Administration of Market Supervision and other government departments have launched an operation to crack down on “unfair competition, illegal trading of counterfeits, wildlife, and livestreaming,” among other things. The crackdown will run until December.
