– The number of cases of coronavirus, which has killed 159 people in Europe so far this year, hit 2,890 in Slovakia on Saturday, the country’s health ministry says, per Reuters. That’s the highest daily total yet, and comes as the country launched an experimental testing program that will eventually go nationwide. Thousands of people lined up to be tested for the virus on Friday.
