– Asian markets were mostly higher in early trading today, buoyed by Wall Street’s rebound and Nancy Pelosi’s call for an economic stimulus package as soon as possible. Japan’s Nikkei 225 Index was up 1.1% and South Korea’s Kospi Index was up 0.8%, according to Reuters. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index was up 1.2% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index was up 1.2%.
