– The FBI is investigating what officials are calling a “deliberate attack” on Massachusetts voters: A fire broke out at a ballot drop box in Boston early Sunday, damaging 35 ballots and damaging 122 others, Reuters reports. “This is a disgrace to democracy, a disrespect to the voters fulfilling their civic duty, and a crime,” Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin says. Boston police have released images of a person who was near the ballot box at the time of the fire and are asking the public’s help in identifying him, the Boston Herald reports.
