– The Los Angeles Dodgers are one win away from their second World Series title in three years after beating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 in game five on Sunday. Game Six is Tuesday night in Los Angeles. The best-of-seven series is now 3-2 in the Dodgers’ favor. In Sunday’s game, Los Angeles took a two-run lead in the second inning and never trailed. In the fourth, Tampa’s Manuel Margot tried to steal home, but Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw threw out Margot at the plate, reports Reuters. “It’s very exciting, but at the same time we’ve got to win one more game,” said Kershaw, who set a record for most postseason strikeouts with 206. The Rays had two runs in the third but were unable to match the Dodgers’ intensity, with LA first baseman Max Muncy launching a monster 434-foot homer in the fifth inning.
