The United States on Monday imposed fresh Iran-related sanctions targeting the Islamic Republic’s oil sector.


– The new US sanctions against Iran’s oil industry are “a passive reaction to Washington’s failure to cut Tehran’s oil exports to zero,” Iran’s oil minister said today, according to Reuters. “The era of unilateralism is over in the world. Iran’s oil industry will not be hamstrung,” he added.
