⁍ President Donald Trump on Monday wooed voters in Pennsylvania, a battleground state he won in 2016.
⁍ ‘We win Pennsylvania, we win the whole thing,’ the Republican president told cheering supporters in Allentown.
⁍ Biden, born in Pennsylvania, has made a victory in the state a critical part of his own strategy.
– With less than a week to go until Election Day, President Trump and Joe Biden are making their final pitches to voters in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. “We win Pennsylvania, we win the whole thing,” Trump told reporters on Monday, predicting that he would win by a larger margin than he did in the 2016 election, Reuters reports. Trump, who is behind in the polls in the state, said Biden’s plan to transition away from oil and natural gas would be “an economic death sentence for Pennsylvania’s energy sector.” Biden, who was born in the state, is visiting several other states this week, including Florida, where he will be joined by former President Obama on Tuesday.
