⁍ A bomb blast at a religious seminary in the Pakistani city of Peshawar killed at least seven people and wounded more than 80.


⁍ There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bomb in the northwestern city, which has long been plagued by Islamist violence.


⁍ Peshawar police chief Mohammad Ali Gandapur told Reuters the bomb contained up to 6 kg (13 lb) of explosives.


– A bomb exploded at a religious seminary in the Pakistani city of Peshawar today, killing at least seven people and wounding more than 80, Reuters reports. The bomb contained 13 pounds of explosives, according to the city’s police chief. The seminary is mostly for adult students.
