– The White House is downplaying prospects for an election-year deal on the H1N1 virus. “The chances are slim when you have someone like Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, when you look at the proposal they put forward and it still stands today,” a spokeswoman said on Fox Business Network, according to Reuters.
