⁍ SLC Agr ⁇ cola is poised to harvest a good grain crop despite planting delays in the 2020/2021 cycle driven by a drought earlier in the season, an executive said.

– Brazil, the world’s second-largest soybean producer, suffered its worst drought in more than 50 years this year, forcing farmers to delay the start of soybean harvesting by up to 10 days, Reuters reports. But the country’s biggest soybean producer, SLC Agr ⁇ cola, says it is poised to harvest a good crop despite the delay. The company says it is likely to start harvesting soybeans between Jan. 10 and Jan. 15, which is around 10 days later than last year, according to an interview with the company’s CEO.
