– For the 16th straight season, Kyle Busch has won a race. And for the third time this year, he did so in victory lane. Busch won Wednesday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, the AP reports. The Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 was red-flagged after just 52 of 334 laps on the 11/2-mile track on Sunday. It was re-scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, and Busch led the way when the race resumed. “It ran out (of fuel) coming in here to do a burnout so I had enough left to do a little bit of a burnout, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough to get it back” to the garage, Busch said. “I was nervous the whole last run, but I’ve been in this position so many times. The three last laps, though, that was like winning the championship, that’s how nervous it was.” Martin Truex Jr. finished second, putting him in a position to advance to the next round of the playoffs.
