⁍ The San Francisco Shock have parted ways with DPS Kim ‘Rascal’ Dong-jun.
⁍ Rascal helped San Francisco win consecutive titles.
⁍ Three other Shock players could still return.
– Kim “Rascal” Dong-jun is no longer a member of the San Francisco Shock after two seasons in the Overwatch League. The South Korean professional gamer, a first-round draft pick of the London Spitfire in 2017, was traded to the Dallas Fuel in the league’s inaugural season and later to the Shock, where he helped the team win back-to-back titles, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. “From @NRGgg Contenders to moving to the Shock, Rascal was everything you could ask for in a player, individual and friend,” the team said in a Sunday tweet. “It was an honor witness and take part in the Rascal Overwatch League redemption arc.” However, the Chronicle reports the 31-year-old’s contract with the team was up at the end of last season.
