⁍ China has imposed sanctions on Lockheed Martin and other U.S. companies in the past for selling weapons to Taiwan.
– China says it will impose sanctions on Lockheed Martin, Boeing Defense, and Raytheon after the US State Department approved the sale of $1.8 billion worth of weapons to Taiwan. A foreign ministry spokesman said China decided to “take necessary measures and levy sanctions on US companies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing Defense, and Raytheon, and those individuals and companies who behaved badly in the process of the arms sales,” Reuters reports. China has previously imposed sanctions on Lockheed Martin for selling weapons to Taiwan.
