⁍ Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Peugeot maker PSA signed a binding merger agreement in December 2019.
⁍ The two carmakers aim to complete their merger in the first quarter of 2021.
⁍ The merger would unite brands such as Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Alfa Romeo and Maserati with the likes of Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and DS.
– The boards of Fiat Chrysler and PSA Peugeot Citroen have given the green light to a merger that would create the fourth-largest automaker in the world, reports the Wall Street Journal. The new company, to be called Stellantis, would be based in the Netherlands, with listings in Paris, Milan, and New York, per Reuters. It’s expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021.
