– The Justice Department’s No. 2 antitrust official is returning to his old law firm, Reuters reports. Barry Nigro, who served as principal deputy assistant attorney general in the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division, stepped down last week and will return to Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson LLP as of Nov. 2. The move comes after both Nigro and Assistant Attorney General Makan Delrahim were recused from the government’s lawsuit against Google for allegedly breaking antitrust law.
