– The acting head of the Justice Department’s civil division is returning to King & Spalding after less than a year on the job, Westlaw Today reports. Ethan Davis, who oversaw the department’s civil rights division during President Trump’s first 100 days in office, is returning to the San Francisco office of the law firm, which he joined in 2015. “We are delighted to welcome Ethan back to the firm,” King & Spalding’s managing partner said in a statement. “He has made a positive impact on the civil rights division during his time at the department and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
