– Spain’s government says it plans to raise corporate taxes by $1.8 billion in 2021 as part of a plan to reduce the country’s budget deficit, Reuters reports. Government spokeswoman Maria Jesus Montero said Tuesday that the tax hike will affect 1,739 companies. She said tax revenues are expected to fall 7.6% in 2020 before rebounding 13% in 2021.
