– A federal appeals court has decided not to reconsider its decision to throw out an antitrust case against Qualcomm, Reuters reports. The Federal Trade Commission had asked the full 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to rehear arguments in the case. In August, a three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit ruled that the FTC had failed to establish that Qualcomm’s practices had an anticompetitive effect on the cellular chip market. The FTC had asked the entire court to rehear arguments and reconsider the panel decision. The FTC had not immediately comment.
