⁍ Apple users will no longer have the option to apply for the credit card in retail stores or through the company’s website starting Sept. 15.


⁍ Apple also told staff existing cardholders can keeping using the card as a normal credit card, according to the report.


– Starting Sept. 15, Apple users will no longer be able to apply for a credit card through the company’s website or in Apple stores, reports Bloomberg, citing a memo sent to employees. Instead, they’ll be able to use the credit card at the company’s retail stores and online. The move is said to be part of a larger effort by Apple to focus on its own financing plans for upcoming products, including a new iPad Air and two new Apple Watch models.
