⁍ President Donald Trump said he would quickly nominate a successor to liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
⁍ Ginsburg’s death on Friday from cancer after 27 years on the court gave Trump a chance to expand its conservative majority to 6-3.
⁍ His short list of potential nominees includes two women jurists he previously elevated to federal appeals courts.
⁍ Any nomination would require approval in the Senate, where Trump’s Republicans hold a 53-47 majority.
