⁍ That compares with a 787.4 billion reais deficit forecast in the last report in July.


– Brazil’s government is on track to post a $157.4 billion primary budget deficit this year, according to the economy ministry’s latest report. That’s slightly below the ministry’s official forecast of a $166 billion shortfall issued earlier this month.
