⁍ Former Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali is set to replace Chase Carey as the sport’s next chief executive.


⁍ There was no official comment from Liberty Media-owned Formula One.


⁍ Domenicali, 55, is currently chairman and chief executive of Italian sportscar maker Lamborghini.


– Formula One is getting a new CEO, according to a report on racefans.net. The website says current CEO Chase Carey will be replaced by Stefano Domenicali, a 55-year-old Italian who used to run Ferrari’s Formula One team from 2008 to 2014. Domenicali is currently chairman and chief executive of Italian sportscar maker Lamborghini, which is owned by US media company Liberty Media, which took over Formula One last year, Reuters reports.
