– Donald Trump’s respiratory illness is a “bracing reminder” that the deadly virus needs to be taken seriously, Joe Biden said Friday during a campaign stop in Michigan. “Be patriotic,” the Democratic presidential candidate said, per Reuters. “It’s not about being a tough guy. It’s about doing your part.” Biden, who tested negative for the virus twice, said he and his wife, Jill, were praying for Trump and his wife, Melania, to recover quickly, but urged all Americans to wear masks to slow the spread of the disease. “It’s not about being a tough guy,” he said. “It’s about doing your part.” Trump, who is experiencing mild symptoms and will be off the trail indefinitely while isolating at the White House, brings the coronavirus back into the spotlight a little more than four weeks before the Nov. 3 election.
