The former New Jersey governor attended a Sept. 26 event at the White House in which Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Amy Barrett, was introduced, NBC News reports. University of Notre Dame President John Jenkins also tested positive for the disease, according to a statement. Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, confirmed Friday that he had also tested positive for the disease. Trump’s campaign manager, Bill Stepien, and assistant to the president Nicholas Luna also tested positive, CNN reports. Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel and Sen. Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, have also tested positive, Reuters reports.
