He’s referring to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who are trying to hammer out a bipartisan bill to help struggling airlines amid the Pandemic coronavirus. “We’re at the table. We want to continue the conversation. We’ve made some progress, exchanging language, and then, so we’ll see how we connect,” Pelosi told reporters, per Reuters. “There is no standalone bill without a bigger bill,” she said, adding there was “a clear understanding” that any airline aid would have “to be in the context of a fuller bill.” Pelosi and Mnuchin are scheduled to meet again on Thursday.
