– It’s Election Day, which means it’s time for Americans to cast their ballots and weigh in on some of the biggest issues of the day. Here’s a look at some of the bigger issues on the ballot, via the AP, CNN, and the Washington Post: Abortion: Voters in North Dakota will be asked to decide whether to allow abortions in cases of rape, incest, and in cases of rape and incest. The state already allows abortions in cases of rape, incest, and in cases of rape and incest. North Dakotans will also be asked to decide whether to allow same-sex marriage in the state. Food labeling: Voters in Colorado will be asked to decide whether to allow labels on genetically modified foods. If passed, it would be the first state to do so. Minimum wage: Voters in Alaska will be asked to decide whether to require employers to pay a minimum wage of at least $9 an hour. Minimum wage in Florida: Voters will be asked to decide whether to change the state’s minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $8.50 an hour. Minimum wage in Massachusetts: Voters will be asked to decide whether to change the state’s minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $8.50 an hour. Minimum wage in Washington state: Voters will be asked to decide whether to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $9 an hour.
