– Jeff Bridges, perhaps best known for his role as “The Dude” in 1998’s The Big Lebowski, has been diagnosed with cancer, he announced on Twitter last night. “As the Dude would say.. New S**T has come to light,” he wrote. Bridges, 70, said he is starting treatment for the condition and that the “prognosis is good,” Reuters reports.
