– Iran’s supreme leader has some choice words for the US over its handling of the H1N1 virus: “Some countries, such as the United States, have the worst kind of management,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, according to Reuters. “Such behaviors and insults are the way of Americans who embarrass themselves in debates and press briefings in front of the world. But we must try to do our best because it has to do with people’s lives and health, their safety and economy.” Khamenei also called for “severe punishments” for violators of new restrictions on travel introduced in the wake of the outbreak.
