⁍ A 17-year-old girl was found on Saturday to have the virus but no symptoms of the pandemic disease.


⁍ The discovery marks mainland China’s first local infection since Oct. 14.


⁍ As of Saturday, mainland China had 85,790 confirmed coronavirus cases.


– For the first time in more than a month, a person in China has tested positive for a virus related to the common cold, Reuters reports. The 17-year-old girl in Kashgar in northwest China’s Xinjiang region tested positive for theCoronavirus 19 on Saturday after being tested as part of a routine health check. She’s now being treated and schools in the city are being closed for a week as authorities conduct a city-wide test of people who may have come in contact with her.
