– Cartier Carey is 11 years old, but he’s already making a difference. The sixth-grader in Hampton, Va., is running a lemonade stand that’s raised more than $3,000 for single mothers affected by the H1N1 virus, People reports. “I wanted to help mothers who were struggling,” he says. The proceeds go toward buying diapers and wipes. “He doesn’t want to spend any of the money on himself,” his mom says. “He just wants to continue to keep buying diapers and giving each day.”
