– Greece is trying to cut down on the spread of coronavirus, which has killed more than 200 people in the country this year, by making travelers from Bulgaria and Romania submit proof they’ve tested negative for the disease before flying in. The country’s Civil Protection agency says the requirement will be in effect from July 28 to Aug. 4, though it won’t apply to Greek nationals arriving from those countries, Reuters reports. The agency says the requirement will not apply to travelers from other European countries. Greece declared a state of emergency in May after an outbreak of the disease, which causes fevers and convulsions, spread from Bulgaria to Greece. The country has now seen 4,135 cases and 201 deaths.
