⁍ Dutch subsidiary of Air France-KLM will lay off 1,100 workers, national broadcaster NOS reports.


⁍ Air France reported a 2.61 billion euro loss for the second quarter.


⁍ KLM employed 33,000 before the coronavirus crisis began.


– Air France-KLM is laying off 1,100 workers in the Netherlands because of the H1N1 virus, Dutch national broadcaster NOS reports, citing “sources familiar with the company’s plans.” The airline, which is part of Air France-KLM, reported a 2.61 billion euro loss for the second quarter and said 2,000 KLM workers had accepted a voluntary redundancy package, Reuters reports.
