⁍ The move will bring a name change, with the club reportedly becoming the Los Angeles Thieves.

– For the first time in its history, the video game Call of Duty will have two teams competing in the same season. The NRG-owned 100 Thieves, which won the 2019 Call of Duty World League championship, is buying the OpTic Gaming franchise and changing its name to the Los Angeles Thieves, reports the Verge. 100 Thieves announced in August that it was leaving the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition to focus on Call of Duty. The team will have four players for the 2020 Call of Duty League season, down from five, reports the Los Angeles Times.
